North Country Animal League North Country Animal League Morrisville, VT Morrisville, VT Part-time Part-time From $16 an hour From $16 an hour 4 days ago 4 days ago 4 days ago North Country Animal League (NCAL) is a nonprofit animal shelter located in Morrisville, We are seeking an individual with compassion for animals and human beings, as well as a commitment to our mission and values to join our team as an Animal Care & Adoptions Associate.
NCAL's Animal Care and Adoption (ACA) associates are responsible for two distinct but related sets of tasks - the daily care and cleaning of animals and their enclosures and professional customer care of clients relinquishing animals, prospective adopters and daily visitors.
On average, there are 45 animals to care for each day, each having arrived under different, and often stressful circumstances.
NCAL's staff strives to provide a healthy, comfortable space which will allow the cats, kittens, dogs and puppies to adjust to their new environment.
Staff are expected to perform daily duties in accordance with protocols to keep themselves, the animals, fellow staff members, visitors, and volunteers safe.
ACA staff are responsible for providing an excellent customer experience; assisting customers with the intake process, greeting and working with prospective adopters through the matchmaking process which includes conveying information about animal care and completing all required forms, correctly entering data into NCAL's animal database and conducting post-adoption follow-up calls.
This position will start as 24 hour per week and as of July 1st will become full time.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
